Collaboration with Frances Hawthorne, Ann Kluttz and Mike Wirth

SOUND
The sound component of Tiered Justice was created by Mike Wirth. This soundscape was designed to map human emotional space with found and created sounds. The sounds range between loud, aggressive foreground bytes and low, passive background white noise. Busy signals, swarms of bees, bubbling brooks, and human heart beats populate the timeline’s structure. All of these do not tell a specific story per se, but rather ask the viewer to internalize a metascape of solitude, regret, and hope.
