Water is pumped through a small tube into two glass droppers attached to the front of the piece. The water constantly drips onto the absorbent fiber below, which expands and molds over time. A motor continuously pushes objects out of the three openings and then pulls the objects back in again. Each of the movements occurs in a staggered fashion. The viewer can hear creaking and groaning sounds.
